Finally Moved!

As most of you know Charles, Addison, Tootsie and I are moving to Tampa March 1st. I have to brag about my wonderful husband for a minute and tell him how proud I am of him and his accomplishments. Charles received a promotion with Blue Medical and will now be the sales leader of the West Coast of FL. He will be managing 9 individuals. He has worked extremely hard the past 23 months to get to this place.
On January 28th Charles starts his MBA program with the University of Florida. Didn't I marry Mr. Ambitious? I am so very proud of my hunky husband...I didn't just get looks I got brains too! Our family is embracing all the upcoming changes with smiles even though the move is bitter sweet. We are looking forward to the excitement Tampa offers but will miss our family dearly.
It took us about a week to move out of the house we were renting. Bless my husband for all that he has done. He has had the week from hell! He started moving things into storage last weekend and then he was in Tampa Tuesday-Thursday, came home and has been moving ever since. We finished this morning...FINALLY! We are staying with my parents for about 6 weeks because I am a chicken and hate staying the night by myself! :) At least Addison will get good quality time with her Grandaddy and Mimi before we move.
Addison is now 9 months old! Can you believe it? I can't. The newest things with her are: she now has 4 teeth and a 5th one on its way, she said her first official words about a week ago (other than Da-Da and Ma-Ma) which was Tootsie and Dog! Her Dr. said she is slightly orange from excessive beta carotene (what can I say, she likes her veggies!), she finally is above average at 51st percentile for weight and she is still very long in the 95th percentile for height!
The slide show above are some recent pictures I took at our new temporary home. January has been a slow picture month due to the move. Enjoy!

Daisy Bond has arrived

The newest addition to the Bond family arrived yeserday afternoon! Guy bought Reva a puppy for Christmas from my Aunt Clare and Uncle Mark. Being the wonderful, sweet, most amazing daughter-in-law that I am I drove down to South FL to pick up Daisy on Tuesday and then drove her to Jacksonville Wednesday. Ok well I did get my hair done while in Jax! :) Daisy and Addison had a blast Tuesday night while in Vero. Daisy loved having a little person to play with! When Addy would crawl Daisy would dart underneath Addy's belly and do figure eights all around her. It was too cute! Having Daisy in the house was like having a 3 month old baby....she cried for about 30 minutes when we put her to bed then woke up from 2:30-3:30 and cried then woke up for the day at 6:30! Glad she only stayed one night! Reva and Guy both absoluetly adore Miss Daisy. She really is a sweet pup. Sadie didn't know what to think about her new baby sister. She was very curious about her and had no trouble playing and teasing her but Daisy held her own. Caleb showed Daisy lots of love by giving her lots of hugs...now we know what poor Carter goes through all day long!

Music to my Ears

We have all heard children say Mama and we all grew up saying it. Never in a million years did I know the impact that word would have on me when I heard my daughter say it for the first time! Addison and I woke up this morning and let daddy sleep in. As I was feeding her I was practicing the "ma" syllable with her and I told her I thought today was the perfect day for her to say ma-ma. Sure enough later this morning Addison said Mama. She of course was very proud of her new found ability and repeated ma-ma over and over again. She definitely knows Charles is Dada but I am not convinced she knows I am Mama. It doesn't make hearing her say it any less wonderful.
To make this day even bigger Addison's top left tooth cut through this morning. She only has one in so she looks a bit like a snaggle tooth at the moment! It's ok because she says MAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First Night Out

Charles and I FINALLY decided it was time and that we were ready for Addison to stay the night out without us (well I was fianlly OK with it..he was always fine)! Addison stayed with her Mimi last night. Of course it was harder for me than anyone but Addison did GREAT! She slept from 7:00pm to 6:45am, ate her breakfast and then Mimi and Addy went back to bed from 8:20-10:20am! I was at mom and dad's house at 9:30 waiting to see my little princess. As expected she was perfectly wonderful and had a great a time with Mimi. (Grandaddy went hungting so he missed out on Addy's first sleep over!) It was so nice to sleep in and not wake up twenty times to check the monitor so we see her staying out again very soon! :)
